Event Details

Join your fellow WLP professional and Chapter Member Jack Eslinger as he presents The Six Thinking Hats strategy, developed by Edward de Bono. This is a decision making and problem solving tool that encourages you to look at issues from a number of different perspectives. During this session, you will learn what each of the Six Thinking Hats represents, the concept of parallel thinking and how you can apply this strategy in your daily life.  

 

Jack Eslinger, Esq. is the Organizational Development & Training Manager for the City of Las Vegas.  He has been employed by the City of Las Vegas for over nine years.  Prior to his employment at the City, he was employed by Mirage Resorts, Incorporated for 10 years.  A licensed attorney in Nevada, Jack earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in May 2003, his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in May 1989 and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Eastern Illinois University in December 1987.  He currently holds the Certified Professional designation from the HR Division of the International Public Management Association (IPMA-HR) and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  He is currently teaching Employment Law as a part-time instructor for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in the College of Business.
